Account management essentials

Accessing your MultiPass account

We provide an online account to all our registered clients. The account can be accessed here using the email address and a unique password that you create during the registration. You will also need a 2-step verification code – you’ll have SMS verification switched on by default, however, you can change it to one of the Authenticator apps inside your MultiPass profile.

Switching your 2-step verification method

Although both methods work perfectly fine for shielding your account with an extra layer of security, Google Authenticator and Authy get a few extra points in our books. Here’s why:

  • The app-generated code changes every 60 seconds making it harder to hack;
  • Avoid issues with SMS delivery due to specific local carrier regulations sometimes preventing messages from getting through;
  • No signal-related problems – the apps can work in offline mode.

To change your 2-step verification method, log into your MultiPass account and go to Settings. Click on the Security tab. Click the Setup button next to the Authenticator app method. Now install one of these applications on your smart device. Scan the QR code with your freshly installed app and click the Next button. Now enter the verification code generated by your authenticator app and click Confirm. You’re done! If you have faced any issues, please reach out to your personal manager or our support team.

Changing your contact email or phone number

You can change your contact information anytime online. First, log into your MultiPass account and go to Settings. Next, click the Edit icon next to your Contact Information block.

To add a new phone number, select your country code, enter your new number and press the Add button. You will then be asked to confirm this action with an SMS code that you will receive shortly. Your phone number is confirmed! You can make it your default number if necessary.

To add a new email address, type it into the second field and press the Add button. You will then be asked to confirm this action with your 2-step verification code. Next, go to your email and verify your new address by clicking the activation link. After it is done, you will be able to make it your default email if necessary.
